Pankaj Vekria - Chief Executive Officer
Pankaj Vekria is the founder of eTutors and the joint founder of LAN2LAN, a successful IT services business in the South of England. He was born in East Africa and came to the UK in 1973. After studying Electronics and Communications Engineering he pursued an early career as a communications engineer. Pankaj has worked in the IT industry since 1986 and as the Commercial Director of LAN2LAN was responsible for the company?s pioneering move into mobile data services and the promotion of the BlackBerry in the UK marketplace. Pankaj holds an MBA from Liverpool University.
Pankaj is also the CEO of CCTVMobile Ltd which specialises in delivering CCTV services to handheld devices. Pankaj conceived the eTutors model in response to the needs of his daughter who was unable to attend school for a period of time due to illness.
Chris Morrow - Chief Operating Officer
Chris Morrow is a serial entrepreneur specialising in the field of technology. He is a Freeman of the City of London and Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists. He founded Prime Selection Ltd, an IT services company in 1984 and built it into a company employing nearly 200 people before selling it in early 2001. Since then he has been an active catalyst in several businesses where he has provided both funding and hands on management to enable the company to grow. Recent investments include Medical Education Partnership and Patersons HR & Payroll Services. Chris sits on the Industry Advisory Board of the Faculty of Computing, Information Systems and Mathematics at Kingston University. He joined eTutors as Chief Operating Officer in 2009.
Steve Bunce - Chief Technical Officer
Steve has been the Technical Director of LAN2LAN for the past 15 years in which role he has been responsible for developing LAN2LAN?s internal IT strategy and for service delivery to customers.
His extensive experience of deploying complex solutions across a multitude of technology platforms gives him an excellent grounding in the needs of a business such as eTutors. He has an enviable track record of delivering projects on time and within budget and for producing elegant and simple solutions which support customer needs in terms of interface and ease of use.
Originally working as a bio-technician for several academic organisations, Steve has been involved in providing IT solutions over the past 25 years, and has been responsible for the technical development of LAN2LAN?s solutions since the company?s foundation.
Shirish Patel - Chief Finance Officer
Shirish Patel was born in East Africa and immigrated to the UK in 1972. He graduated from Oxford Brooks University in 1984 and joined a Warner Bearman & Co Chartered Accountants in London. Following this he worked in the insurance industry before joining Eastern Pharmaceuticals Ltd as Finance and Operations Manager. He was headhunted to LAN2LAN as Chief Financial Officer in 2001 and joined eTutors International Limited in 2009. He is also Financial Controller at Pure Jewels (www.purejewels.com) an internet based jewellery retailer.
